Anax nigrofasciatus (Blue-spotted Emperor) is a widespread and rather common species in large parts of Asia. The pictures below were made in May 2018 in the Botanical Gardens of Godavari, Nepal. The male shown was saved from drowning in a pond where it was floating upside-down.
