Onychogomphus cazuma Barona, Cardo & Díaz, 2020 – Cazuma Pincertail
NL: Cazumatanglibel

Described only in 2020, Cazuma Pincertail looks like a confusing mix between Small Pincertail (O. forcipatus) and Large Pincertail (O. uncatus). Initially found only in the Cazuma river system in eastern Spain near Valencia, it is now known from two other areas as well: one in southeast Spain in the Murcia region and one in west Andalusia. The pictures on this page were all made at the Andalusian population. Larval habitat consists of a concrete gutter alongside a road here. It has permanent water but the situation seems very vulnerable.
