Epallage fatime (Charpentier, 1840) – Odalisque
NL: Oriëntjuffer | DE: Blaue Orientjungfer | FR: Epallage fatime

Epallage fatime (Odalisque) is the sole European representative of Euphaeidae. Epallage is a monophyletic genus, which means that Epallage fatime is the only species in Epallage. The geographical range of Odalisque is limited to south-west Asia and the southern Balkan peninsula, where it breeds on clear fast-flowing streams.
With its stout abdomen, fast and strong flight and spread wings when perching, Odalisques can be mistaken for Anisoptera (dragonflies).
