Platycnemididae (white-legged damselflies)

Slender damselflies that look a lot like Coenagrionidae in size and colour. Typical for Platycnemididae are more or less broadened tibias, as well as a larger relative distance between the eyes. The family Platycnemididae is represented in Europe by 3 species in one genus.
