Gomphus graslinii Rambur, 1842 – Pronged Clubtail
NL: Gevorkte rombout | DE: Französische Keiljungfer | FR: Gomphe de Graslin

Gomphus graslinii (Pronged Clubtail) is a rare clubtail endemic to south-western France, Spain and Portugal. Its natural habitat is rivers.
Pronged Clubtails look very similar to Yellow Clubtails (Gomphus simillimus). The easiest way to identify the two species is by looking at the diagnostic ante-humeral markings. In Pronged Clubtails, the yellow line between the black ante-humeral markings is smaller than the black parts, in Yellow Clubtails the yellow and black parts are about equally wide.
