Onychogomphus lefebvrii Rambur, 1842 – Pale Pincertail

Pale Pincertail replaces Small Pincertail (O. forcipatus) in Turkey roughly from Tarsus to the east. Beyond Turkey its distribution range stretches south to Israel and east to Kazakhstan. In the past Pale Pincertail has been considered a subspecies of O. forcipatus but the shape of the appendages are very different.
