Ophiogomphus cecilia (Green Snaketail) is a medium sized clubtail with grass green thorax and black-and-yellow abdomen. Females wear a small ‘crown’ between their eyes.
Green Snaketails inhabit flowing water, from small streams to large rivers. The geographical range stretches from Sweden to northern Greece and reaches western Siberia in the east. Green Snaketails are absent from Iberia and Italy.
