NL: Blauwe zonnewijzer | DE: Schwarzer Sonnenzeiger | FR: ?

The western limits of the geographical range of Trithemis festiva (Indigo Dropwing or Black Stream Glider, as it’s called in India) just reaches our area: it occurs in Greece on the east-most Aegean islands, on Cyprus, is common in southern Turkey and throughout Asia to northern New Guinea.

The pictures shown here were made in Nepal in May 2018 and in Turkey in June and July 2024.
