Coenagrion puella (Linnaeus, 1758) – Azure Bluet
NL: Azuurwaterjuffer | UK: Azure Damselfly | DE: Hufeisen-Azurjungfer | FR: Agrion jouvencelle

Coenagrion puella (Azure Bluet) is a common species in most of Eurasia. It’s often confused with Coenagrion pulchellum (Variable Bluet) but the abdomen is blue for a larger part. Females are only reliably distinguished by the shape of their pronotum.
